JAIPUR: Delhi-Jaipur Expressway would take three months to complete, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said today.

On March 25, the Union minister had assured that the construction of the Expressway will be over by June.

On its completion, Gadkari said that he would come to Jaipur to inaugurate it. The minister was responding to reporters through video conferencing.

Gadkari also assured to expedite the construction work of a bridge on Chambal river here.

The Union minister also called for introducing seaplane facility in the lakes of Rajasthan on the lines of Goa and Mumbai.

He pointed out that there were opportunities for improving tourism sector by introducing seaplane facility in lakes of Rajasthan and said that the Centre would give permission if the state government forwards any proposal in this regard.

He said that the Central government gave permission for such services in Goa and Mumbai.

The seaplane is capable of taking off and landing (alighting) on water.

The minister said that the government would try to get the seaplane manufactured in the country under the initiative of Make in India.
