Bullet train milestone: 480m Sabarmati river bridge completed in Ahmedabad

A major milestone for India’s Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project as the 480-metre-long bridge over the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad has been completed. Standing 36 metres high, the bridge features eight circular piers and was built using the Balanced Cantilever Method. With this bridge complete, 18 of the 21 river bridges in Gujarat on the high-speed rail corridor have now been completed.
