Ashoka Buildcon starts toll on Rs 535-cr Bhandara road project
ABL today said it has completed construction of Rs 535-crore Bhandara road project, linking Chhattisgarh to Maharashtra and started collecting toll on the stretch.
"The project, costing Rs 535 crore, is the largest toll-road project commissioned till date by ABL. The toll collection have started from today," the company said in a statement.
With this completion, ABL has 18 road projects on build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis operational and five under construction.
"This completion within budgeted cost again highlights the strength and continued focus of the company on timely construction. It will further boost the company's financials," said ABL Managing Director Satish Parakh.
The company is one of the leading toll road developers in the country and has operations in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Orissa.
