Approval for four and double laning of roads in Arunachal
Chibber appealed the state government to speed up ongoing projects and was assured of co-operation for resolving the technical issues by the chief minister, the sources said.

The development came when Secretary MoRTH, Vijay Chibber called on Chief Minister Nabam Tuki to discuss the Trans Arunachal Highway and other highways under the Special Accelerated Road Development Programme for North East (SARDP-NE) at New Delhi today, official sources said here.
Chibber appealed the state government to speed up ongoing projects and was assured of co-operation for resolving the technical issues by the chief minister, the sources said.
Later in the day, Tuki called on Union Home Secretary R K Singh to discuss internal security of the state.
The chief minister requested increased and timely disposal of funds for the modernisation of the police to strengthen the security framework.
Tuki appealed for a helicopter for security surveillance and disaster mitigation in the state and also sought four additional battalions of CRPF and Homeguards for for the state.
They also discussed the posting of IAS and IPS officers to the state, the sources added.
