3i invests Rs 200 crore in Supreme Infrastructure's road projects

3i India Infrastructure Fund, an investment fund formed by the international investor 3i Group plc, has completed the investment of Rs 200 crore for a minority stake in Supreme Infrastructure India's BOT road projects portfolio.

KOLKATA: 3i India Infrastructure Fund, an investment fund formed by the international investor 3i Group plc, has completed the investment of Rs 200 crore for a minority stake in Supreme Infrastructure India's BOT road projects portfolio.

The statement issued by the Supreme Infrastructure indicates that the deal was announced on January 30 this year. The company, which had built over 400 km of roads, has an order book of Rs 5,800 crore. Ernst & Young was the sole advisor to the deal.

Incidentally, Supreme Infrastructure India is a construction and infrastructure company in India focussed on roads, bridges, power, water, railways and civil construction as well as infrastructure among other activities.
