PWD Minister Yunus Khan, in a reply to a question by BJP MLA Shimla Bavari, said the proposals to build missing road links were sought from the MLAs through collectors, and it would be taken on priority basis.
Under the "Gaurav Path" flagship, 2,200 km of roads have been proposed to be built across 2,154 villages.
The damaged roads would also be repaired in the state on priority basis, Khan said.
Citing figures, the Minister told the House that the previous Congress government had approved road construction worth Rs 4,000 crore as against the budgetary support of Rs 2,242 crore, which was about Rs 1,800 cr more than the sanctions.
Food and Civil Supply Minister Hem Singh Bhadana, in a reply to a question asked by BJP MLA Gyan Chand Parakh, said that under the new Food Security Act the previous Congress government had made more selection of families from BPL and other beneficiaries.

As per the new guidelines, Bhadana said, 5 kg of food grain per person would be given under the Public Distribution System (PDS) and added that "atta" (grain flour) was stopped during the previous Congress government.
