WPI inflation at 4 year high, grew high 5.77%
India's wholesale price inflation hit a 4-year high at 5.77%, up sharply from 4.43% in May. WPI was at 0.90% in the same month a year ago. The WPI numbers came in way higher than estimates pegged at 4.93%. In the month of May, WPI at 4.43 had breached a 15-month high.
