South-west monsoon has been weak over Kerala. Rain occurred at a few places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: South-west monsoon has been weak over Kerala. Rain occurred at a few places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep.

According to meteorology sources here, Piravom reported an isolated heavy rainfall of 7 cm. Other chief amounts of rainfall reports in cm are Kayamkulam and Mavelikara 3 each. Harippad, Kudulu and Thiruvalla 2 each. Alappuzha, Aluva, Mananthavady and Munnar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 26, rain or thunder showers will occur at many places in Kerala and at a few places in Lakshadweep.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rainfall will occur at isolated places in Kerala during next 48 hours, outlook for subsequent two days no significant change.
