PHILADELPHIA: State Bank of India Chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya, McKinsey & Co Americas lead Vikram Malhotra and former Microsoft India head Ravi Venkatesan will speak at the prestigious Wharton India Economic Forum (WIEF) 2014, which will reflect on India's success stories.

The 18th edition of the WIEF themed 'Time to Reboot', to be held here on February 22, will be attended by venture capitalists, entrepreneurs as well as senior members of finance, infrastructure and real estate sectors, WIEF said in a statement.

Other speakers will include Sanjeev Bikhchandani (Naukri.com founder), Alok Kejriwal (Games2Win Co-Founder and CEO), Dinesh Kanabar (KPMG India Deputy CEO) and Jitendra Virwani (Embassy Group Chairman).

WIEF, an annual conference organised by Wharton students, has seen participation from luminaries like former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam, Finance Minister P Chidambaram, former Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party founder Arvind Kejriwal, veteran banker KV Kamath and industrialists like Anil Ambani and Sunil Mittal.

"This year's conference aims to reflect carefully on the past decade to pinpoint India's key success factors and areas for political and economic improvement," it said. WIEF strives to be a forum for delegates to reassess India's economic growth trajectory, re-evaluate its regulatory landscape and draw up an action plan to ensure the country meets its full potential over the coming years, it added.

This year, WIEF will also hold a Startup Competition that will feature innovative India-focused start-ups. Winning entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch to an elite panel of VC investors and established entrepreneurs on the day of the conference and will compete for prize money of up to US $ 10,000.
