Retail inflation data for March 2025 postponed to April 15

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has announced that the release of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data for March 2025 has been postponed to 15 to the holiday declared for all Central Government offices on 14 April 2025, in observance of Dr. BR Ambedkar's birth anniversary.

The government had earlier announced, while releasing the February retail inflation data, that the data for the month of March will be released on April 14.

The ministry put out the information through a live ticker on its online website.
