Taking a dig at MP CM for riding on bicycle to reach office, Union Minister of State for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia today said if Shivraj Singh Chouhan was really concerned about people why he was not making "concrete cuts" on the taxes.

INDORE: Taking a dig at Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister for riding on bicycle to reach office, Union Minister of State for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia today said if Shivraj Singh Chouhan was really concerned about people why he was not making "concrete cuts" on the taxes charged by the state government on petroleum products.

Scindia accused BJP government in the state for "misguiding" people on the issue of price rise and said while several states, on the appeal of the Centre, have reduced taxes on petrolium products, Madhya Pradesh government was yet to take a concrete step.

Referring to Chouhan's cycle yatra to reach his office at Ballabhgarh, Scindia said "there are lots of difference between saying and deeds of the BJP. It will be better if the Chief Minister reduce taxes on petroleum, then ride cycle," he added.

Scindia said spiralling prices in the petroleum and food crisis were due to international factor which can not be overcome onvernight.
