More the merrier; manufacturing growrth high at 10.6%

The manufacturing- sector growth continues to be robust at 10.6% in June 2007 as per the data compiled by CSO. Industrial prods for June 2007 is 9.8% reflecting the fact that demand for industrial goods and consumer durables continues to fuel the mfg sector in particular and industry sector in general.

The mining and electricity sector have posted a growth of 3.6 % and 6.8% respectively for June 2007 as per official data.
