Inflation likely to moderate, says RBI governor Shaktikanta Das

The governor mentioned that more than 50 out of 70 high-frequency indicators are in positive reflecting financial stability despite risks.

Ahead of the June inflation number coming in, the Reserve Bank of India governor, Shaktikanta Das, said that the inflation is likely to moderate, reported ET Now.

The governor mentioned that more than 50 out of 70 high-frequency indicators are in positive reflecting financial stability despite risks.

He mentioned that the commodity prices are easing as well.


According to ET Now, Das said that the central bank is against crypto currencies as it may undermine bank's inflation fight.

He also mentioned that the new regulations for digital lending may be announced soon.
