NEW DELHI: India's direct selling industry will touch Rs 23,654 crore by 2019-20, a report by IDSA-PHD said. The industry, led by Amway, Oriflame and Herbal Life, grew 6.5% in 2014-15, the report said. Wellness and healthcare products continue to lead with 42% share of the sector turnover, the report added. Gross sales stood at Rs 7,958 crore.

IDSA treasurer Vivek Katoch said absence of regulatory framework had impacted the approach of direct sellers. "We are taking adequate measures for development of the Industry," he said. The sector has registered a modest recovery in 2014-15 compared to the previous year, the report added.
