PMO official Shaktikanta Das said the Indian economy remained stable despite global uncertainties and geopolitical tensions

New Delhi: India's economy remains stable despite global uncertainties and tensions, and continues to show strength supported by domestic demand and industrial and services sector activity, the principal secretary to the Prime Minister said on Tuesday.

The country needs to reduce its dependence on oil and gas imports, Shaktikanta Das added.
