IMF chief sees global economy recovering in first-half 2010

IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn said on Friday that he expected the global economy to recover in the first half of next year.

VIENNA: IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn said on Friday that he expected the global economy to recover in the first half of next year.

"We still see a recovery in first semester of 2010 and the beginning of the turning point in September, October" this year, the head of the International Monetary Fund told a news conference in the Austrian capital.
