Government to release first quarter GDP data on August 31

NEW DELHI: Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation today said the national accounts data for the April-June quarter of the ongoing fiscal will be released on August 31.

The ministry in its statement on May 29, 2015 had said that the June quarter GDP data will be released on August 28.

"The First Quarter press release of 2015-16 will be on 31st August 2015 as per the Advance Release Calendar for Quarterly Releases. In the Press Note released on May 29 2015, the date of release was inadvertently mentioned as 28th August 2015," the ministry said in a notice uploaded on its website.

According to the advance calender for release of different economic data by the ministry, the first quarter GDP data is due for release on August 31.
