The core sector data for September provides some hope that the mild industrial recovery in August may sustain. The govt has also tightened its belt to prevent any further slippage in its finances.



Core sector jump will make Sept IIP look good...but whether the performance is sustained, one will have to wait & watch as the data is not very reliable, says DK Joshi, Chief Economist, Crisil.
