Chartered Accountants play important role: Finance Minister

AP Finance Miniser K Rosaiah has stressed the significance of Chartered Accountants in the development of the country's economic growth.

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Finance Miniser K Rosaiah has stressed the need for regular auditing in different departments of the Government.

Inaugurating the two-days State-level diamond jubilee conference on professional empowerment organised by the Vijayawada Institute of Chartered Accountants on Friday, the finance minister said beacuse of economic growth in the country the Chartered Accountants are playing important role.

"It is a good news about 3.5 lakh students are pursuing chartgered accountants course in different institutes," he said.

He said when he took over as finance minister the state budget was 48,000 crore and now it has jumped to 136 crore.
