NEW DELHI: The Union Budget 2012-13 presented by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is growth oriented and the government will be able to meet its fiscal deficit target, said George Alexander Muthoot, MD, Muthoot Finance.

“We welcome growth oriented budget presented by the government. We are confident that government would achieve the fiscal target set at 5.1 percent in FY13. Considering the enhanced tax brackets from Rs. 8 lakhs to 10 lakhs, under 20% tax bracket would fuel the consumption driven growth in this country,” he said.
