UK Tech Summit delegates to discuss Kochi as smart city

Bharat Joshi, British deputy high commissioner in Chennai said, `` We have already supported the Kochi Smart Cities Project and I’m excited to be bringing more than 20 first-rate UK companies with expertise in transport infrastructure, built environment, energy, water, waste management and sanitation, technology infrastructure and securities and cyber solutions to see for themselves the opportunities this extraordinary city offers.”
The UK is country partner at this year’s Tech Summit, India’s premier science and technology event in New Delhi from 7-9 November. The Tech Summit has brought together leading star speakers, British businesses, science and technology experts to India to show best of what UK has to offer.
“This is the first and largest business delegation of its kind to Kerala. The companies visiting Kochi will pitch the latest in cutting-edge smart city solutions to both government and industry. We look forward to exploring the many partnership opportunities that Kochi Smart City has to offer,” said Tammy Sandhu, deputy head of mission and head of department for international trade.
