Britain's minister for business engagement with India Greg Barker will be on a three-city tour of India this week to strengthen commercial ties.

UK minister on visit to forge bilateral trade ties
LONDON: Britain's minister for business engagement with India Greg Barker will be on a three-city tour of India this week to strengthen commercial ties.

Barker, also UK minister of state for climate change and energy, will visit Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai from February 6 to 10. In Delhi, the British Conservative Party MP will meet Indian ministers, senior government officials and investors.

While in the capital, Barker will also inaugurate the SMMT pavilion at the Auto Expo at Greater Noida and address the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit. He will then participate in a webinar hosted by UK India Business Council for Britain's small and medium enterprises.

In Kolkata, the minister will attend the GREAT Trade Roadshow and meet state ministers and key stakeholders and experts on green growth. He will conclude his visit in Mumbai with a meeting with senior government officials.
