Spices exports seen picking up as prices fall

Demand is expected from China, the USA, West Asia, and Southeast Asian countries.

Fennel (saunf) harvest will begin in a fortnight, followed by coriander (dhaniya) and cumin (jeera), traders said. Chilli harvest has already started in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
New Delhi: Spices exports from India are likely to revive after about two months with the arrival of the new crop in a fortnight and helped by up to 23% fall in prices in the past month, traders said.

Demand is expected from China, the USA, West Asia, and Southeast Asian countries.
