Over Rs 2.12 crore goods traded across LoC

Goods worth over Rs 2.12 crore were traded on Wednesday between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) along LoC.

POONCH (J&K): Goods worth over Rs 2.12 crore were traded on Wednesday between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir ( PoK) along LoC at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said.

As many as 25 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger here to POK , they said, adding, these trucks carried bags of chilli, onion, banana and coriander worth Rs 90,59,549.

From POK, 8 trucks carrying bags of almond, dry grapes, dry dates, keenu, Peshawari sandal and herbs crossed to this side worth Rs 1,22,09,932.

The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1230 hours to 1300 hours and 1600 hours to 1630 hours, they said.
