OECD looks to work with India for inclusive growth
OECD Deputy Secretary General Richard Boucher said the Indian economy is moving in the right direction for taking advantage of skills and knowledge.

OECD Deputy Secretary General Richard Boucher said the Indian economy is moving in the right direction for taking advantage of skills and knowledge.
Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is a grouping of mostly developed nations.
Boucher said: "We are looking at OECD on inclusive growth, working with India on things like well-being, how you make sure that everybody benefits and we are looking more broadly at new approaches top economic challenges, so we can really understand... and we want India to join in that".
He was speaking at a session at The Partnership Summit here that was jointly organised by the government and CII.
"(in the coming years), the economies will be based on skills, knowledge and business practices and software and skills and services... in some ways, India is very well positioned to take advantage of this," Boucher said.
Noting that India is strong in services, he said the country is "moving in the right direction, you are creating better manufacturing facilities, creating infrastructure.
"... My only advise would be that you (India) got to go up keep going".
According to him, currently there are about 15 economies which have trillion-dollar GDP and the same is expected to go up to 30 in number by 2030.
