State-run trading firm MMTC has invited bids from domestic traders for sale of 6,950 tonnes of imported pulses.
Bids would close latest by 1530 hrs on September 29 and the decision on the tender would be taken by October 1, the company said on its website.
The tender includes bids for 2,950 tonnes of tur whole and 2,000 tonnes each of black matpe (urad) and green gram (moong) of Myanmar origin.
Bidders should quote for a minimum lot of 500 tonnes, the trading firm said, adding that they are encouraged to quote for higher quantity as the same can be increased based on the bids received. Pulses offered for sale are grown in the current crop season, MMTC said.
