CHENNAI: Indonesia today evinced interest in coming up with new ventures in Tamil Nadu, in a move to further strengthen bilateral trade relations between the two countries.

Indonesia Ambassador Rizali Wilmar Indrakesuma, heading a delegation, today expressed his country's interest in starting new ventures in Tamil Nadu during a brief interaction with Governor K Rosaiah today, a Raj Bhavan release here said.

He said the visit of delegation would further pave the way for setting up of new ventures, promotion of trade and commerce between the two countries.

Rosaiah said Tamil Nadu was a front ranking State besides operating as a hub for Information Technology and automobile industries. It is also known for its rich culture and has renowned universities, he added.
