India–New Zealand FTA talks near finish after decade-long gap

India and New Zealand are set to sign an FTA after talks resumed in 2024, ending a 10-year pause. The deal aims to double bilateral trade to $5 billion within the next five years.

India and New Zealand are set to ink a Free Trade Agreement on Monday, the talks for which restarted last year in March after a hiatus of ten years and with the goal of doubling bilateral trade to $5 b over the next five years.
