NEW DELHI: India plans to export raw sugar to Kazakhstan as sugarcane growers and mills in the world’s second-biggest producer of the sweetener face declining prices in the wake of record output.

“Kazakhstan has requested India to export raw sugar immediately to contain the prices of foodstuff,” an official release said here on Tuesday.
