India, Israel elevate ties; fast-track FTA, UPI link, mobility boost
India and Israel elevate ties to a Special Strategic Partnership after talks between Narendra Modi and Benjamin Netanyahu. The two sides move to fast-track a free trade agreement, examine linking UPI with Israeli payment systems, and expand skilled worker mobility. Nearly 16 pacts cover AI, cybersecurity, agriculture, energy and defence cooperation.
