India extends curbs on sugar exports till October 31, 2023
India has extended restrictions for sugar export by one year through October 2023, news agency Reuters quoted a government notification as saying. India, the world's biggest sugar producer, had restricted exports in May through the end of this month to contain a rise in domestic prices following records exports.
