The chamber will serve as a strategic platform to support Danish companies operating in India, as well as those exploring business opportunities in the country, facilitating trade, investment and collaboration.

Mads Schlosser, Director of the Indian Danish Chamber of Commerce, said India-Denmark trade relations span over 400 years and are currently at their peak, with rising interest from Danish firms in the Indian market. He noted that the proposed India-EU Free Trade Agreement is expected to further expand opportunities for collaboration.
Echoing this, Søren Holm Johansen, Executive Director at Rambøll Group A/S, said the launch reflects a strengthening Danish business ecosystem in India and will provide more structured support to companies looking to partner with Indian firms.
Denmark, a global leader in green technologies and sustainable practices, is increasingly looking to deepen cooperation with India, particularly in areas such as energy efficiency and sustainability.

Both countries share a commitment to open markets and rules-based cooperation, providing a strong foundation to further scale up economic ties at a time of global uncertainty, Schlosser said.
