Govt okays BIPPA agreement with Iceland, Brunei

The government on Thursday gave its approval for signing of Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements (BIPPA) with Iceland and Brunei.

NEW DELHI: The government on Thursday gave its approval for signing of Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements (BIPPA) with Iceland and Brunei.

The agreements are aimed at increasing investments between the countries, Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunsi told reporters after a meeting of the Union Cabinet.

He said the agreements would be for a period of 10 years.
