The government on Thursday amended the import policy of organic light emitting diodes and liquid crystals to “free” from restricted earlier.

In a separate notification, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade also said that Remdesivir Injection and API, Amphotericin-B Injections, Enoxaparin (Formulation and API) and Intra-Venous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) are now freely exportable. Their exports were restricted earlier.

“The export policy of Remdesivir Injection and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Amphotericin-B Injections, Enoxaparin (Formulation and API) and Intra-Venous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) (Formulation and API) has been made free with immediate effect,” DGFT said.


Their exports were restricted in June last year that would require a licence amid a surge in Covid-19 cases in the country.
