Goods worth Rs 4.66 cr traded across LoC

From PoK, as many as 25 trucks carrying bags of almonds, oranges, mulathi and pista came to this side worth Rs 3,10,07,698.

POONCH: Goods worth over Rs 4.66 crore were traded through 50 trucks between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir ( PoK) along Line of Control (LoC) at Chakan-Da-Bagh Crossing point in Poonch district today, officials said.

As many as 25 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of J&K to PoK today, they said, adding that these trucks carried bags of coconuts, red chillies, herbs and bananas worth Rs 1,95,77,666.

From PoK, as many as 25 trucks carrying bags of almonds, oranges, mulathi and pista came to this side worth Rs 3,10,07,698.

Officials from both the sides monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1200 hrs to 1230 hrs and 1700 hrs to 1730 hrs respectively, they said.
