Capexil targets $20 bn exports

Capexil, a multi-product council, is targetting exports worth $20 billion by the next decade from the present level of $9.62 billion.

KOLKATA: Capexil, a multi-product council, is targetting exports worth $20 billion by the next decade from the present level of $9.62 billion.

Capexil chairman Samir Ghosh told reporters here today that the council would organise more buyer-seller meets and give more importance on quality.

He said that Capexil would celebrate its golden jubilee on October 1 in New Delhi, which would be inaugurated by Union Commerce Minister Kamal Nath.

The council exports 16 types of products categorised broadly into minerals and non-minerals.
Capexil at present exports to 10 countries.
