Canadian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Bihar: Stewart Beck

PATNA: Canadian High Commissioner to India, Stewart Beck, today informed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that Canadian entrepreneurs were interested in investing in the state, official sources said.

Beck called on the chief minister here and during the hour-long meeting, he told Kumar that entrepreneurs of Canada were interested in making investment in infrastructure, energy and food processing sectors in Bihar, the sources said.

The chief minister briefed Beck about the steps taken by his government in sectors like agriculture, industry, dairy and fishery, besides improving law and order in the state.
