Bilateral trade with India to double in 3-4 years: Slovenia

KOLKATA: Bilateral trade between India and Slovenia is expected to double in the next three to four years, Deputy Prime Minister of Slovenia, RadovanZerjav said.

"The bilateral trade between the countries is growing at 20 per cent since last few years was expected to continue in future," he said at the business summit 'Slovenia-West Bengal the Cooperation with India'.

The current bilateral trade is 400 million euro, he said, adding that cooperation with India and the south-central European country is strong but would be enhanced in future with his visit.

A 22-member business delegation is in the city after visiting Delhi and Agra to explore opportunities in business in and from India.

Two Slovenin companies had formed joint ventures with Indian counterparts at the International Summit at Agra, officials said.
