'Apparel exports to fall 9% this fiscal'
Apparel exports from India will see a 7-9% decline this fiscal, compared with the last year's $10.13 billion, according to Apparel Export Promotion Council chairman Rakesh Vaid.
Exporters could see the recovery in the American apparel market, as orders have started flowing in, but the pricing aspect continues to remain a sore point, he said on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Knitwear Technology Mission building on Monday.
