HYDERABAD: Several UK-based companies have evinced interest in making investments in Andhra Pradesh, state Information Technology Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy said here today.

Reddy, who returned to Hyderabad yesterday after a week-long visit from the UK, said the representatives of these interested companies would soon visit Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh to explore opportunities for investment.

The minister told reporters that he has held meetings with prospective investors and sought investments in the state.

Reddy, who held meetings with NRIs from AP during his UK visit, said all of them were keen on helping in the efforts to develop a capital city for the state and towards ' Hudhud' cyclone relief.

The minister said he also visited the British Parliament and interacted with law makers there.
