Service Tax payment date in Tamil Nadu extended

CHENNAI: The Service Tax Commissionerate here has extended the date of payment of service tax in Tamil Nadu to December 20 in the wake of the incessant rains.

"The Service Tax Commissionerate III, has extended the last date for payment of service tax in Tamil Nadu for November to December 20, 2015", an official release said.

Several low-lying areas were inundated due to the heavy rains last week in which 245 people lost their lives, according to State government.
