RBI to issue Rs 10 denomination note with inset letter 'M'
The Reserve Bank of India will shortly issue Rs 10 denomiantion banknotes with inset letter 'M' in both numbering panels in Mahatma Gandhi Series with additional security features bearing the signature of Dr Y V Reddy, Governor.

CHANDIGARH: The Reserve Bank of India will shortly issue Rs 10 denomiantion banknotes with inset letter 'M' in both numbering panels in Mahatma Gandhi Series with additional security features bearing the signature of Dr Y V Reddy, Governor, said an official release.
Except for the change in inset letter, the design of these notes to be issued now is similar in all respects to the banknotes issued earlier.
All banknotes in the denomination of Rs 10 issued by the Bank in the past will continue to be legal tender, said release.
