RBI Governor discusses J&K's financial stability with Vohra
SRINAGAR: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Raghuram Rajan called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and discussed issues related to the state's financial stability.

"The RBI Governor called on Vohra at Raj Bhawan here last evening and the two discussed issues relating to the state's financial stability," an official spokesman said here today.

During the meeting, Rajan referred to the initiatives taken by the RBI for improving the banking services and about the implementation of various social schemes and self employment programmes sponsored by the Centre.

"The two also discussed the hurdles which still come in the way of sustained credit flows, particularly to alleviate the lot of the poor," the spokesman said.
