Rajasthan Congress asks Raje govt to reveal terms of MoUs
Rajasthan state Congress unit has demanded that the Vasundhara Raje government disclose all the terms and conditions of the preliminary agreements signed with all companies that are planning to invest in the state.
Addressing a news conference today, Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president Raghu Sharma said every investment should be transparent and the state government should disclose under what terms and conditions these investments are coming.
He, however, said: "We welcome whatsoever investments by leading Indian and multinational companies in Rajasthan has been committed."
Meanwhile, the state government signed more Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various companies on the second day of the 'Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit', taking the number of such initial pacts to 269 with total proposed investment of Rs 1,58,463 crore. The government had signed 242 MoUs signed yesterday, while the remaining were inked today.
Rajasthan Industries Minister Narpat Singh Rajvi said better opportunities for investments had been created in the state by upgrading infrastructure facilities. The state government would provide every possible support for providing desired facilities to the investors, he said.
