PFC looks at Rs 15K-to-20K crore debt mobilisation

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) is looking at some Rs 15K-to-20K crore debt mobilisation this year.

KOLKATA: Power Finance Corporation (PFC) is looking at some Rs 15K-to-20K crore debt mobilisation this year. The central nodal agency for power projects financing has also decided to realign their lending rates by about 25 basis points soon.

PFC's average lending rate is about 11.75%. The company will disburse about Rs 24K crore this year. It is also close to inviting requests for qualification for three ultra mega power projects (UMPPs) in Orissa, Tamil Nadu and Chattisgarh.

This was announced by PFC director MK Goel in Kolkata on Thursday.
