Over Rs 25 lakh distributed as loans under self-employment projects
Local Administration Minister N G Panneerselvam today handed over Rs 25.5 lakh as loans to 57 persons identified as belonging to backward classes and minority sections to enable them to carry out self-employment projects.

PUDUCHERRY: Local Administration Minister N G Panneerselvam today handed over Rs 25.5 lakh as loans to 57 persons identified as belonging to backward classes and minority sections to enable them to carry out self-employment projects.
Panneerselvam said in a release that the amount was sanctioned by the Puducherry Corporation for the Welfare of Backward Classes and Minorities.The loans were meant to enable the beneficiaries to launch projects to eke out their livelihood and also to expand their business concerns.
