NBCC pays Rs 108 crore dividend to government

NEW DELHI: State-owned construction firm NBCC Ltd today said it has paid Rs 108 crore dividend to the government.

The dividend cheque of Rs 108 crore was presented to Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu yesterday, the company said in a statement.

"Considering the impressive performance of the company during FY 2015-16, NBCC has paid 100 per cent dividend this time which is an increase of 45 per cent as compared to the last year," it said.

NBCC posted a turnover of Rs 5,759.86 crore and net profit of Rs 311.11 crore in 2015-16.

NBCC, under the administrative control of Ministry of Urban Development, is present in three segments -- Project Management Consultancy (PMC), real estate development and EPC contracting.
