KOLKATA: Indonesia���s Salim Group seems unfazed by developments at Singur. Even if Tata Motors pulls out, the Salim Group is upbeat about its investments in West Bengal.

This was announced by Benny S Santoso, executive director of the Salim Group, on Thursday, after his marathon meeting with chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and commerce and industries minister Nirupam Sen at Writers��� Buildings.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Mr Santoso said, ���We will undertake all our projects, especially those proposed by New Kolkata International Development (NKID).���

Incidentally, the Salim Group, along with its two partners Universal Success and Unitech, has lined up a stratospheric investment plan of Rs 5 lakh crore to be spread over 15 years.
