The budget session of the Meghalaya assembly will begin from Monday.

SHILLONG: The budget session of the Meghalaya assembly will begin from Monday.
On the first day of the session, the Governor will address the House followed by presentation of the supplementary demands and appropriate accounts.
The session will continue till March 27 when the Vote on Account will be passed by the assembly.
The House is scheduled to meet again from April 15 to May eight to take up other business including questions and replies by the members.
This is the first budget session of the Meghalaya Progressive Alliance government headed by Chief Minister Donkupar Roy who assumed office on March 19.
