Megha Engineering says it is the highest GST payer in Andhra, Telangana

Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (Meil) said it has paid more than Rs 3,000 crore towards goods and services tax (GST) since the law came into force.

This makes it the highest GST payer in the two Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over the last two years, the conglomerate said in a statement on Saturday.

Refuting news appeared in a section of the media of raids by the regulatory bodies, Meil said as a fast-growing and successful infrastructure company the intention of the company was always to comply with the tax laws.
